Our WCTU Australia Team
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
This dedicated and passionate group of Christian women are the team which heads up Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) Australia, Ltd. They bring years of experience and a wide range of expertise. These women are committed to the WCTU mission, motto and objectives. They represent thousands of strong hearted women who have gone before them and led the WCTU in Australia since 1882. While some are new, others have been members for more than 20, 50 or even 80 years. They are all concerned and agitate for our nation to be free of the SAD poisons (smoking, alcohol, drugs). They are women of purpose, faith and excellence.

The Board of National Directors is composed of:
President, Retiring President, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Youth Work, Director of Children's Work and the Director of Education & Research. It shall also include the president of each state union, who may attend at her own expense and may vote. Department Coordinators may be invited to attend.
The National Convention is composed of:
The Board of Directors, Senior State Vice-Presidents, State Corresponding and Recording Secretaries, State Treasurers, State Secretaries or Superintendents for Drug-Free Christian Youth & Drug Free Kids (or substitutes, Field Workers and any financial full member in attendance.
A National Convention is held every three years.
